麻省大学罗威尔分校 (University of Massachusetts, Lowell) 成立于1894年,是一所公立大学,是麻省大学体系中第二大的大学。并且地理条件优越,位于波士顿近郊,交通十分便利。张老师实验室现招收一名博士后,以及一名生物医学工程博士生。研究方向为前沿交叉学科:食品安全(food safety),纳米材料(nanomaterial),及生物传感器(Biosensor)。

1. 博士后:The Postdoctoral position will be appointed through the Department of Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences in the College of Health Sciences. The Postdoc will also conduct research on Food Safety applications of advanced nanomaterials and biosensors. Applicants should possess a strong academic background and hands-on lab experience in microbiology, biotechnology, advanced materials, and/or biosensor. Applicants with PhD degrees in Microbiology, life science, biomedical science, chemistry, engineering and other relevant disciplines will be preferred. Excellent oral and writing skills in English are required. 

The postdoc is expected to start as early as Spring, 2020 with competitive stipend and benefits package. Sponsorship of Visa is negotiable for international applicants.

2. 博士:The Ph.D. student will be admitted through the Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology Program (BMEBT). The doctoral degree is offered jointly by the UMass campuses. (https://www.uml.edu/umass-BMEBT/Programs.aspx) Students with a strong motivation to conduct research on topics, including food safety applications of advanced nanomaterials and biosensors. Applicants should also possess a strong academic background and hands-on lab experience in microbiology, biotechnology, advanced materials, and/or biosensor. Applicants with BS/MS degrees in Microbiology, life science, biomedical science, chemistry, engineering and other relevant disciplines will be preferred. Excellent oral and writing skills in English are required. 

The student is expected to start in Fall 2020, and will receive scholarship or assistantship with tuition support. The review process will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
